Belated Easter weekend fun.

Monday, 13 April 2015

I had the luck of being able to go home for a week at Easter and spend the wonderful Easter weekend with my family, and also celebrate my lovely Mum's birthday.

Unfortunately since then I have been swamped with university assignment being due, so I haven't had the time to share my lovely weekend with you guys. So I thought better late than never that I would share with you some moments and pictures of my fun filled Easter weekend.

Waiting by the door.

I was lucky enough to spend my Easter break at home with my family and my gorgeous puppy. I was also lucky enough to spend Easter Sunday with my family, as we all celebrated Easter and my Mum's birthday.

We stopped by some falls on the way down, to let the dog have a toilet break, and I had a little wonder around and enjoyed the environment and natural beauty of the falls and even the surrounding landscape.

My heart.

We then spent the rest of the weekend eating food (mostly chocolate of course) and spending time with the people we love.

I did get the remainder of the week off, but by the end of the long weekend I was stressing about the assignments I had to do, one of which I am now procrastinating on writing this blog post.

What was the best part about your Easter long weekend, if you celebrate it?

I hope you are all having a wonderful week.

32. Write someone a letter and post it to them.
33. Exercise.
34. Go through the photos on your phone and remember how much fun those times were.
35. Go through your Facebook photos and remember how much fun those times were as well.
36. Re-watch that show you love and haven't watch in ages.
37. Look online for fun things that you could do with your spare time, whether it's now or in the near future at some point.
38. Do some online shopping.
39. Spend a good hour on pintrest.
40. ind some cool DIY ideas and do them, if you need to get stuff for them, do that as well.

Well there are 40 ideas that I came up with in order to procrastinate, which I shouldn't be doing, but I am. I hope some of these ideas inspire you. I now have to get back to doing my work. Or at least think about my next blog post.

May Madness.

Thursday, 1 May 2014

Hey guys,
So May is here and I am ready for things to go crazy.
By which I mean May Madness. What is May Madness you ask, something I want to do on my blog. So here we go. Let me explain. May Madness will be a month of craziness. I will be (or attempting to) blog every day of this month. So everyday this May you should be getting a blog post from me and I hope I can keep it up.

On another note my project from last month (notice the ground beneath your feet) will be up in two days time. Yes it is going to be a little bit late, but it will be up in two days.

So that's all for today, lets get May kicked off.

Swamped.

Sunday, 30 March 2014

Hey guys,
Today post comes to you in the midst of my own procrastination. I have been staring at my computer for hours, trying to attempt finishing the reading I need to do and to do the ever growing pile of Uni work.
But my brain has wondered, and is getting a little bit bored with reading and doing work. So I thought I would post.

I currently have a list of running things I need to do and it never seems to go down. Things keep getting added, but by the time they have been completed, several other things have been added in it's place. It's virtually an endless list of things.
I will say that I am not to far behind on my work, which is a pleasant surprise to me, as I always felt like I was behind at high school, that and I was too lazy, but so far I haven't left anything to the last minute. So that's a plus.

I also constantly find myself staring out of my window, at nothing in particular, just so that I don't have to concentrate on any work. Plus it was sunny for most of the day, so that didn't help. Or eating, for some reason eating seems to take my attention a lot.
I can't quite comprehend how people who are doing sciencey subject manage, when I am slightly struggling keeping up with a Creative Arts subject. Don't assume we don't do any work outside of class, we do plenty.

I have also found myself consuming four time more coffee and peppermint tea than usual, just to help me along with my studies. The coffee hit certainly doesn't help with the procrastination, it just makes me get bored faster. But it helps a little.

So thats all for now, I should probably get back to reading the large pile of texts that I need to read for week 3 and 4, which I haven't finished and haven't started.

Procrastination and Creative mind block.

Monday, 28 October 2013

Hey guys,
So I haven't blogged in a while. And I'm  not going to lie, it's because I'm super lazy, busy and procrastinating on life. I have had a huge pile of assignments and lists of things to do, and I have pretty much done everything that has a due date the night before. Or in the case of one assignment, the morning of.

I have also been having super writers/creative block. Not only for blogging, but also every other thing that needs me to use my creative parts of my brain (writing a song as an assignment, being one of them).

Things are slowly calming down and I hopefully will get back to normal, and blog more, even though I have only started recently. I hope to blog more. I just really need to get off my butt and get onto it. I will be knocking my procrastination habit to the side (hopefully) and get things done.
